Nicole Kidman takes her daughter Sunday to feed the giraffes at the zoo in Australia on Thursday (December 31). Sunday, 2, seemed to really enjoy giving her carrot to the giraffe! The 42-year-old Australian actress was just added to the list of celebrity presenters for the Jan. 17 Golden Globes. Other presenters include: Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Nicole Kidman and Avatar star Sam Worthington are joining the list of celebrity presenters, including Steven Spielberg, at the Golden Globe Awards. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which puts on the Golden Globes, says the stars will help hand out trophies at the 67th annual ceremony.

They join previously announced presenters Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Colin Farrell, Matthew Fox, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The Golden Globe Awards will be held January 17 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The Kidman clan were out en masse to celebrate Christmas in Syndey. Nicole Kidman even went so far as to match her outfit to that of daughter Sunday, who seems to be sharing a look of bemusement with her mother.

Nicole enjoyed the festivities with her parents, sister and sister's boyfriend, but the only person not snapped was husband Keith Urban - perhaps he was inside basting the turkey? The family were spending time at Nicole and Keith's new Lavender Bay Penthouse, which comes complete with views of Sydney Harbour, naturally.

Sydney Nicole Kidman’s New South Wales country home neighbours are miffed with her because of an "ugly" fence she has built around her estate for privacy.

Also, the actress has planted 150 cypress leylandii saplings, ranging from 4ft to 6ft tall, around her 140-acre Bunya Hill estate.

Apart from the fast growing trees, which can mount to 60 feet, and nylon fence, she has also built an earth mound to shield the property from the main road. 

The beauty’s neighbour Greg Barnsley insisted that the quiet town people did not wish the place to be ruined by the oversized trees. "They grow to an enormous height. Yes these ones are small now but they are going to be huge," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted him as saying. He added: "They are out of character with the area, they are not even Australian natives.

"We respect that Nicole wants her privacy but if she wants trees let them be Australian ones."  At present Kidman lives in Nashville with husband Keith Urban, but will move to Bunya Hill property for Christmas.  Bunya Hill is located in Sutton Forest, south west of Sydney.

They looked quite relaxed and happy.They are in the city to spend Christmas with their extended families for the second time at their Southern Highlands mansion.

However, the loved-up couple has attracted the agony of locals by encircling their Sutton Forest property with a breed of tree, which has become a pain in their neck.

More than 150 cypress leylandii saplings - also known as leighton green - have been planted on the inside of two of the 45ha property's fences.

A local action group has for years been campaigning against their use because they block district views and can cause damage to property.

Taking care of some promotional duties, Nicole Kidman was spotted out and about in New York City today (December 15). The “Moulin Rouge” actress looked lovely as she made her way around Manhattan, sporting a frilly tan jacket and carrying a cream colored coat in case she got too cold.

Nicole is in the Big Apple to promote her upcoming film “Nine” and was spotted at a luncheon for the movie at Per Se restaurant yesterday afternoon. Director Rob Marshall told press Ms. Kidman filmed “Nine” right after giving birth to her daughter Sunday Rose.  “She was excited to be part of a company and go back to work right away.  And her baby was on set with us. It was beautiful.”

Nicole Kidman refused to answer questions about scientology, a controversial religion practised by her ex-hubby Tom Cruise, in a recent TV interview. The Aussie actress was in London to promote her new flick ‘Nine’ and was being interviewed by BBC presenter Andrew Marr.

"Scientology. It is, a lot of people would say, a bullying cult," quoted Marr’ as saying. Kidman answered: "I''m here to publicise Nine. If I was here to do an expose on myself then I''d be like, ''Let''s go,'' but I have no interest in discussing any of that." Marr insisted:

"You don''t want to talk about Scientology in any way at all?" Kidman answered: "Nope. I''ll talk about Nine." Marr''s question on Scientology, and Kidman''s reply were scrapped from the TV version of The Andrew Marr Show, but can be seen on the program''s website.

Doing her best to maintain a healthy lifestyle, Nicole Kidman was spotted toting her red yoga mat after attending a fitness class in Los Angeles, California on Friday (December 11). With her curls tucked underneath her cap, the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress looked relaxed as she hopped into an awaiting ride after a solid morning workout.

As for keeping in tip-top shape, Miss Kidman recently revealed that she’s never been one that has to worry about caloric intake.Talking with She magazine, the Aussie actress said: “As Keith’s a musician there are pitstops at Wendy’s. But I’m six foot tall, so it’s not weight that’s an issue for me, but things like cholesterol.”

But don’t be fooled, as Nicole always has gotten her fair share of exercise from running, telling of her passion: “It’s what my dad taught us. He’s a marathon runner. He’s 71 and goes on ten-mile runs. He takes Sunday hiking on his back for hours.”
