It wasn't a good night for the Urban/Kidman couple. Actress Nicole Kidman stole the limelight on the red carpet at the 2011 CMT Awards in Nashville — for her strange choice of outfit. Meanwhile, her husband, Keith Urban, walked away empty handed. Kidman attended the awards on Wednesday night to support her husband, who was nominated for Male Video of the Year, and wore what the Daily Mail described as "an odd-looking ensemble". The Hollywood star, 43, stepped out in a dress that combined a top-half of green and Navy blue stripes with a brown see-through asymmetrical calf-length bottom.
She completed the look with a pair of strappy lilac-coloured heels. Her dress was designed by Proenza Schouler, a New York-based fashion house known for its edgy creations. The outfit was in stark contrast to what she wore to last year's awards ceremony when she donned a stunning Prada gold brocade scooped-back dress. Urban lost out in the Male Video of the Year category for his single 'Without You' to Blake Shelton.
